The setting

The restaurant at Brindos, in Anglet, offers a breathtaking view of the lake and surrounding countryside. Just 10 minutes from Biarritz, in a peaceful, leafy setting, Chef Hugo De La Barrière offers refined cuisine combining Basque tradition, South-Western flavours and creativity. The menu changes with the seasons to make the most of local produce, complemented during the week by a three-course market menu served at lunchtime. As soon as the weather is fine, the terraces open out onto the pontoon and gardens of the Château, for an open-air lunch or a dinner along the water in a privileged atmosphere.

Le 1930: THE JOY OF SHARING

From midday onwards, Brindos revives the spirit of large gatherings with Le 1930, a restaurant where simplicity, generosity, and childhood memories come together. Designed as a tribute to the origins of the Château and its primary purpose—bringing people together—Le 1930 celebrates the art of sharing an authentic moment over sincere cuisine.

The cuisine is sincere and flavorful, featuring seasonal products and dishes that evoke childhood meals: tender roast chicken, seasonal vegetables, and a nostalgic chocolate mousse. A lunchtime table that celebrates the taste of simple things, conviviality, and the pleasure of being together.

Open Monday to Saturday at lunchtime, as well as Monday and Tuesday evenings.

LA TABLE DE BRINDOS: A GASTRONOMIC EXPERIENCE BY THE LAKE

At nightfall, the Château reveals another facet of its hospitality: the lake glows in the moonlight, and La Table de Brindos offers the best vantage point to admire this spectacle. The setting becomes more intimate, perfect for an exceptional dinner.

The cuisine combines technique, creativity and exceptional produce. The dishes highlight the flavours of the Basque region while respecting the seasons, for a precise and refined gastronomic experience.

Open from Wednesday to Sunday evening.

The Chef

Heading up the restaurant, Chef Hugo de la Barrière offers refined cuisine that is both rooted in its South West environment and open to other influences. Inspired by seasonal produce and local Basque producers, he creates precise, well-balanced dishes in which taste remains essential.

Having trained with some of the world's leading chefs, his main aim is to bring out the authentic flavours of the South West, using an approach that is both technical and instinctive.

Under his direction, the restaurant at Brindos has become a place of experience, where people come as much for the food as for the time spent together, in a calm, well-kept setting.
